Robert Stewart, CCICC, CAPS

Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC)

Over the past four decades, Robert has guided high technology practice and been responsible for providing principal-level project leadership to the firm’s most important projects. Additionally, he oversees the financial performance of the firm and manages Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo practice areas. Bob is a member and past officer of The Downtown Breakfast Club of Los Angeles, an organization of professionals whose main purpose is to recognize, foster and encourage the orderly and planned growth of Downtown Los Angeles. His professional affilitations include the California Council of Interior Design Certifitcation (CCIDC) and CERTIFIED AGING-IN-PLACE SPECIALIST (CAPS).

Senior Associate, Project Architect

As a Senior Job Captain with more than sixteen years of experience, Ruben has worked in all phases of architecture, interior design and planning for new construction and complex renovation projects. Ruben is a code expert and is responsible for the preparation of construction documents, including coordination with clients and consultants as well as coordination with all the city departments and directly involved in construction administration.

Nestor A. Caraan

Associate & Sr. Job Captian

Nestor Caraan brings decades of continuous involvement in the technical facets of architecture including preparation of construction documents, approvals and construction administration to SRK projects. His education includes a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the National University - Manila, Philippines. He is a member of the United Architects of the Philippines. Nestor is skilled in the production of plans including multi-family residential/mixed-use, hospitality/amusement parks, healthcare, workforce, and education. He is highly experienced in obtaining expedited permits and inspections on behalf of our clients and possesses extensive experience and rapport with local and state agencies. For several years Nestor played a key role in the design and construction of Shanghai Disneyland in The People’s Republic of China. Nestor’s recent SRK projects include the San Pedro Elks Lodge, Walker Zanger, Corporate Headquarters & Regional Distribution Center and he is currently working on multiple branch locations of Montecito Bank and Trust.

Duyum Dulom, AAIA

Sr. Associate, Project Manager

After obtaining his Masters in Building Science from the University of Southern California in 2013, Duyum was integrated into the SRK Team as an intern architect but quickly excelled, becoming the Building Science Manager. His skills and expertise in AutoCad, Revit, Design Building, etc. have facilitated large projects such as the historic Los Angeles Athletic Club renovation, San Pedro Elks Lodge reconstruction and the new corporate headquarters for Walker Zanger. Duyum’s affiliations include USGBC LA Chapter, AIA LA Chapter, Society of Building Science Educators (SBSE) and the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).

Sally Norgren

Associate, Office Manager

With over 20 years of experience supporting executives in the architectural field, Sally plays an integral part in the day-to-day function of SRK Architects, Inc. Her demonstrated effectiveness and efficiency allow SRK Principals to focus on their professional and managerial roles with pragmatism and efficiency. Sally coordinates all operations of the firm with the operations director to ensure that the firm maintains its standing within the profession of architecture. Sally holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Business Administration from De La Salle University Manila, Philippines.
